Would we as a nation (USA) fight back against a tyrannical government?
Iv been thinking alot about our 2nd Amendment, Im always thinking about it, im a gun advocate, and the question popped into my head, if our government did get seriously out of hand and it was a serious question of whether to fight back, Do you think we would fight back…as our forefathers intended for us to do with our the right to bear arms they granted us.
I like to think we would fight back.

I would think that we would. I just do not know how affective we would be if the government turned our military against us. How many in our military would follow the governments orders, seeing that they have been trained to do just that?
Not a very fun prospect in the least.

Hell yes! I myself would do everything I could think of to stop them! And anyone in the service with a good head on their shoulders would! If they didn’t and I was standing next to them, boom! It would be all over!

By the way, I seriously doubt many would rebel….if any ! Too many on the public dole……

I would hope it would never lead to that. Right now our govt is out of hand, and there is a fairly large group of people that are aware of this. There is a fairly small amount of people fighting back. If we made that fairly small, fairly large then it would never come to that. Our military has technology out side of our grasp and connections to other country’s. If it wear to ever come to that, im sure a large portion of our millitary would leave to help us fight. After all they do swear to protect aginst enemy’s foran and domestic. The only ones that would stay are the people that do not get what they swar to, witch sadly is alot. Not only would our military help, but other country’s would be to. Its the only way i think they could do this. There is a %15 chance that we would win. One person because of the technoligy they have and training would = 10 of our men. So we cant let it get to that point. So come on and help us fight our tyrannical govt in peace, with law.

Hopefully, our fearless leaders will have enough brains to see when they have pushed the people too far. The big question comes down to the military. When members of our armed forces are FORCED to make a choice between the Constitution of the United States, and the orders of the Commander in Chief and superior officers, something could happen. With today’s technology, an armed civilian insurrection could be too easily suppressed. But with at least some of the cutting edge technology on the side of the insurgents, a regime chang might be brought about.
I’m certainly not advocating this type of scenario, just speculating on a possible answer to your question.
